After more than 40 years in the business world—sales, administration, and management—Phil Friesen decided to focus his knowledge and experience to provide the administrative support to local ministries and non-profits which always seem to struggle in these areas. Phil formed Citadel Ministries, Inc. through which he provides training, as well as actual support in the areas of Bookkeeping/Record Keeping/Reporting, Policies/Procedures, Marketing/ Social Media, Insurance/Human Resources Requirements, Leadership/Professional Development. Phil’s goal is to insure that the ministry is never compromised by the lack of administrative support.
A non-profit sector veteran of nearly 30 years, Mark Peterson has founded a number of ministries and organizations, assisted other individuals and groups in forming more than 60 non-profit, tax exempt (501(c)(3) organizations, served on numerous governing boards, and worked in staff positions of Executive Director,
Program Developer/Manager, and Grant Writer. He has consulted with numerous organizations in the areas of Organizational Development, Strategic Planning, Board Development, Compliance Problems, Sustainability Factors, and taught classes in Grant Readiness/Grant Writing and Board Member Duties/Responsibilities. Mark’s goal is support local no-profits and ministries, organizationally, to help equip them to effectively achieve their goals and objectives.
With more than 25 years of ministry/financial services/fundraising experience, Brent Riffel is driven to establish, develop, and maintain relationships with individuals, families, business owners, and financial advisors in order to be a creative influence in helping them strategically and effectively direct their funds and assets to ministries, organizations, projects and programs about which they are passionate. Brent’s greatest joy is in assisting these people to “move from personal/business success to Kingdom significance.”
Upon graduation from college, Bruce Bickel tried to break into show business as a standup comedian. But he wasn’t very funny, so he enrolled in law school. For over thirty years, Bruce has been a lawyer specializing in estate planning and trust administration, which is a field in where he is considered hilarious. He currently limits his practice to service as a professional fiduciary for trusts and estates. Bruce has served as outside counsel to several church denominations. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Westmont College, and he has co-authored more than fifty books on the Christian faith.
